Common bathroom Feng Shui problems
The view of a restroom, especially a toilet, can decrease the energy of the front entrance and affect the whole house.
If you can not relocate the door, at least close the bathroom door, close toilet seat, keep the restroom clean and well-ventilated. You can also increase the energy of the front entrance by adding bright light, crystal, 5 emperor coins, or Feng Shui animals (Pi Xiu, Qi Lin, dragon, stone lion…)
Thre restoom belongs to the water element and kitchen is the fire element. Doors facing each other can create conflicting energy.
Try to relocate toilet or stove if possible. Keep the doors closed, add some curtain, screen, or plant to block the view.
It is not best place to have a restroom inside a bedroom. The moisture and semll can negatively affect your health. It is very common in modern buildings. Just keep the restroom clean, bright, well-ventilated all the time.
Bathroom door should not face a person’s leg when sleeping. It can cause restless and health problems. Relocate the bed direction so it is not facing the restroom door. At least keep the restroom door closed all the time.
A restroom above the front door is not good Feng Shui. Even if you can not see the restroom front the first floor, the energy can still affect the front entrance to some degree. Increase the energy of the front entrance by adding crystals, bright light, or Feng Shui animals (Pi Xiu, dragon, stone lion…).
The center space is the heart of a home. This is not the best place for a restroom. Add potted plant with bright light and air vent. The earth energy of the soil can control the water energy of a restroom.
A mirror should not faces a door in Feng Shui to avoid any startle when we are tired and low energy. It is the same in a bathroom. Change the direction of mirror, cover with fabric, or at least keep the space bright an clean so these is no confusion.
