“Journal from Confucius’s Pillow” predictions
The first book is “Kong Sheng Zhen Zhong Ji” or the journal from Confucius’s pillow. It includes a poem describing the year 2022. See the original poem, translation, and commentary below.
It describes a year of abundance, with the possible danger of evil power rising. There is a good harvest in farming. Animals might be in trouble with diseases. Even though we have plenty of food and wealth, the tiger might come down from the mountain causing harm and problems.
2. The Earth Mother’s Classic (Huang Di Di Mu jing)
This book “Huang Di Di Mu Jing” or the Earth Mother’s Classic is often included in the traditional Feng Shui calendar or almanac. It includes a poem describing the year 2022.
The poem is very similar to the first book “Zheng Zhong Ji”. It describes the year 2022 as an abundant year with plenty of harvests and timely rain. The mulberry and silk production becomes very expensive. The farm animals can be in danger.
Overall this is a good year, except overprice of everyday items and some trouble for animals. This can mean a contagious disease among animals.
3. The Back-Pushing Illustrations
The third book is the famous “Tui Bei Tu”, or called the Back-Pushing Illustrations. The poem and illustration related to the year 2022 is number 39 or 56.
The number 39 has an image of a bird on top of the mountain, and the sun at the base of the mountain. The poem is describing the opposite of the picture. So the interpretation is that a lot of chaos and activities are against common sense this year.
At the end of the poem, it says all people are crying. It seems to indicate problems and sadness during this year.
Another possible poem for 2022 is the number 56 illustration. It shows 2 people with weapons and breathing fire. This can mean fighting or war.
The poem says “the flying one is not the bird, and the swimming one is not the fish.” The poem describes the war as not about military power or soldier, but some types of game or play. So it can be very deceiving and difficult to predict. What we see in appearance is not the truth.
The commentary is saying this war and fire can be very serious and beyond the country of China.
