2022 year of the Tiger - suggested feng shui cures and enhancers

The 2022 year of the Tiger - suggested feng shui cures and enhancers

Every year, the stars enter different locations and change the energy of a house. One popular classical feng shui school is the Flying Star feng shui. Based on the annual Flying Star feng shui chart, we can adjust our furniture and layout to take advantage of the lucky energy and keep away from the negative energy.

The best time to set up feng shui is around December, January, and February. The feng shui year starts from “Li Chun”, or “start of spring” in the 24 solar terms. It is typically around February 4th or 5th of the western calendar. Around December or January, the Qi of the year is gradually weakening, and the energy of the new year starts to grow.

The Chinese new year (Lunar new year) falls on the first of February in 2022 for the year of the Tiger. This is also a good time to re-arrange furniture and set up proper feng shui for the new year and start fresh. Even though you can change your feng shui at any time of the year, getting your feng shui set up before the lunar new year makes the most sense with the annual Flying Star chart.

The annual Flying Star feng shui chart for the 2022 year of the Tiger

Here is the yearly Flying Star feng shui chart for the 2022 year of the Tiger. It includes the 9 flying star locations and general meanings, as well as the feng shui afflictions of the Tai Sui, Sui Po, and San Sha.

This year, the flying star feng shui chart is exactly the same as the original Luo Shu chart. The number 5 is in the center, the number 1 is in the north, the number 9 is in the south, and so on. According to the flying star feng shui theory, this is called “Fu Yin” and not very lucky in general. It can mean health issues or money problems.

To reduce any negative energy, we can keep all areas clean and organized. If you see any “Sha Qi” outside the house, such as a sharp corner of another building facing your window, or a T-junction leading to your door, you should place some feng shui cures or block the view. If there is no “Sha Qi” from around the house, and you keep the interior clean and well-maintained, there should be no worry about the negative effect of the “Fu Yin”.

Controlling the Tai Sui (Yearly god), Sui Po (Year breaker), and San Sha (3 Killings) for 2022 year of the Tiger

There are 3 major Feng Shui afflictions or stars, including the Tai Sui (the yearly god), the Sui Po (Year breaker), and San Sha (3 Killings). They go to different locations every year and affect different rooms and animal signs.

The animal signs affected by Tai Sui in 2022 include the Tiger and Monkey. They need to stay more conservative and avoid too much risk this year.

Follow the suggested Feng Shui cures below to stay protected and stay safe.

Try to set up your furniture (desk, sofa….) so when you sit down, you are not facing Tai Sui (Northeast toward East) directly for a long time. And avoid sitting in the San Sha direction (North) and facing South for too long in 2022.
