Chinese face reading basics
Chinese face reading basics
The Chinese face reading can go back to ancient times. An experienced face-reader can tell a person’s past, current, and future luck just by examining the face. It can be very complicated and detailed with different theories. For most of us, it is not hard to learn the basics, and use the knowledge as a reference to find the right employee, friends, or partners.
Modify your luck
Even though we are born with certain physical structures and features, we can still manipulate a little with some makeups. First, we still need to find out our problem areas and know the ideal face structure, proportion, and texture. Applying proper makeup can correct and change our look to some degree, so our luck will be changed too.
Another way is to work on yourself from inside out. Once you learn a possible weakness, we can pay attention and try to improve it. After our behavior changes, our look will change too over time.
Face map and the related ages
A face can be roughly divided into 3 sections. The top third is the forehead area. This area is related to the youth up to 30 years old.
The ears are related to 1-14 years old.
The middle section is related to the middle ages in life, roughly around 31 to 50 years old.
The lower third is related to the older ages from 50 years old and after.
The basic Chinese face reading map
Here is a basic face reading map according to a popular ancient Chinese face reading chart. There will be variations based on different face charts, but the basics are very similar if not the same.
The forehead is related to career, fame, achievement, and fortune or prosperity.
The top corners of the forehead are related to travel and moving.
The eyebrows are related to siblings, friends, assets, and property.
The eyes are related to a person’s spirit, health, and energy.
Directly below the eyes are areas related to baby and kids.
Extending outside the eyebrows and eyes are the marriage and romance luck.
Between the eyes is the life palace.
The nose is related to health and wealth.
Directly below the nose is related to stability and self-control.
Lips are related to will-power.
The chin is related to supportive friends and luck during the older ages.
The ears are related to early childhood and luck from ancestors.
The forehead and ears in face reading
The best forehead is wide and big without any scars or skin issues. It is a sign of good support from your family and people from higher status.
The best ears are thick and big, indicating a supportive family and good fortune from ancestors.
All the best shapes and facial structures should be proportional to other parts of the face. If it is out of balance on the face, it is not the best luck.
Eyebrows and eyes in face reading
The best eyebrows should be clean, orderly, not too thick or thin, and no feathering at the ends. Eyebrows are easier to correct with makeup.
The best eyes should be clear and bright, showing good spirit and energy.
The eyes affect you the most from the age of 35 to 40.
The nose in face reading
The best nose is the right height and length. Anything extreme is not the best of luck. The bottom part of the nose (around the nostrils) indicates money luck and how much money you can accumulate. A thick, fleshy nose here indicates good money luck.
If the nostrils are too big and direct upwards, it can mean money flowing away and difficult to save.
The middle part of the nose is related to health and illness. Any skin problem here will affect health luck.
The area between the eyes can show your current luck. When this area appears dark, it can mean bad luck during this time. Avoid any new investment or business at this time. A bright, glowing life palace indicates good fortune. It is a good time to move forward with your projects. A red life palace can mean argument or anger. Wach your relationships during this time.
The mouth and chin in face reading
The best shape between lips and nose should be deeper and longer. It can mean a mature personality and a deep thinker.
The tight lips can mean strong will-power, and lips that always slightly open means the person can be easily influenced.
A thick, round chin indicates good fortune and stability in the older ages. You will enjoy supportive friends and subordinates.
Some people even think the double-chin indicates a good fortune and a good life in the later stage of life.
