Peach Blossom Luck

In Feng Shui, we call it "Peach Blossom Luck", or "Tao Hua Yun". When your Peach blossom is good, you are popular, attractive, and people love to connect with you. Finding your Peach blossom area according to Chinese animal sign

The calculation is based on your birth year. In another word, your Chinese animal sign. If you do not know your animal sign, there is a lot of resources online you can search. Just remember in Feng Shui, Chinese year starts with Li Chun (beginning of Spring according to Lunar calendar). Li Chun typically falls on February 4th in the western calendar. If your birthday is in January or early February, your animal sign might be the same as the previous year's animal sign. 

The 12 animal sign cycle always comes in the same order: 1. Rat 2. Ox 3. Tiger 4. Rabbit 5. Dragon 6. Snake 7. Horse 8. Sheep 9. Monkey 10. Rooster 11. Dog 12. Pig.

There are 4 Peach blossom directions: North, East, South, and West. 

If your animal sign is Rabbit, Sheep or Pig, your Peach blossom direction is North. 

If your animal sign is Rat, Dragon, or Monkey, your Peach blossom direction is West.

If your animal sign is Ox, Snake, or Rooster, your Peach blossom direction is South.

If your animal sign is Tiger, Horse or Dog, your Peach blossom direction is East.

To activate your love luck, you can also enhance this area with crystals, especially Rose quartz. Or place a pair of Mandarin ducks, fresh pink or red flower. Anything symbolize love to you can be placed here too.

Another area to enhance according to Flying Star chart

In the Flying Star Feng Shui, the number 1 star also governs the romance. So you can also activate the location of the number 1 star in both your Flying Star annual and base chart. In 2018, it is in the south.

The number 9 star is related to marriage. Activate the number 9 area of your house or bedroom according to your Flying Star chart. Place fresh red flower here to enhance marriage luck. 

What not to place

Not all Peach blossom is beneficial to you. Sometimes we call it "rotten Peach blossom" because the relationship or extra attention is not socially acceptable. Those rotten peach blossom just brings you trouble instead of happiness. For example, the third person outside marriage or manipulative people without good intentions. 

If we want to stop the rotten Peach blossom with Feng Shui, we can place thorny, sharp-leaf or non-flowering plants such as cactus or evergreen plants. On the other hand, if you are seeking love or marriage, it is better not to display these plants because it might cut out your Peach blossom luck.

It is also not good to have many empty vases around because of the symbolic meaning.

Position of the bed

The bedroom Feng Shui also affect your Peach blossom luck. Make sure there is room on both sides of the bed. If the bed is against a wall on one side, it symbolizes the blockage of relationship. The back of the bed where the headboard is should be against a wall, meaning there is solid support behind you. It is also not good Feng Shui if the bed is directly facing the door or bathroom door. Reposition or add a long curtain to avoid this situation.
