In this article, we are going to discuss part 3: (5) Qian house (Sitting on the Northwest and facing Southeast), and (6) Dui house (Sitting on the West and facing East).
For the Purple White Flying Star feng shui chart, the house sitting and facing direction is the same as the direction on the map or compass. It is not in relation to the main door like some other style of feng shui.
The sitting direction of the house is the name of the Ba Gua direction for this style of feng shui. For example, the Kan is north direction according to the Ba Gua chart, so a north sitting house is called a Kan house here.
Basic Flying Star charts for Qian and Dui houses
This basic energy map is based on the interaction of the five-element. The main house energy is the Flying Star number in the center and its related 5-element. Based on the 5 element theory of generating cycle and controlling cycle, different energy is created in each sector or direction.
For the Qian house, the main energy is number 6 or the metal element. Each star is related to a certain element. You can see the chart on the right side, and find the basic relationship.
When the star’s element is the same element or in the generating cycle, it creates harmony and positive energy. Controlling cycle or draining relationship (eg, wood generates fire so fire drains the wood) creates conflict and depleting energy. The number 5 star typically represents a challenge in every chart.
See the energy map for Qian and Dui's house below. Set up important rooms in the positive areas to take advantage of the energy.
