The best water and mountain directions in Feng Shui period 9 for wealth and health

Here is a chart showing the 9 feng shui periods and their years. Each period lasts for 20 years. Totally there are 180 years for all 9 periods.

Period 9 starts from 2024 to 2043. Since we are close to the end of Period 8 (2021 now), the power of the Period 8 stars are weakening, and the power of the Period 9 stars are increasing. We can start using the period 9 feng shui set up for long-term planning during the transition time.

The number 8 is located in the Northeast, and the number 9 is located in the South.

Lucky feng shui directions in Period 8 and 9

In Period 8, the luckiest star is 8. So the direction of the Northeast should be taller and supportive. Northeast is the best place for a mountain in Period 8.

Opposite to that, the Southwest is the best place for Water in Period 8. Water can slow down the Qi and let good energy stay longer in the house. So, the energy is contained and not flowing out too quickly.

In Period 9, number 9 is the most important star. It is located in the South, so the South is the best place for a mountain in Period 9. A mountain here can energize and support the lucky energy.

These are not as powerful as the main directions such as 8 and 2 in period 8, or 9 and 1 in period 9, but they are still helpful if you want to set up a secondary Water or Mountain. Or, if the main area can not have a mountain or water setup.

In many schools of feng shui, Mountain is a symbol of health and relationship luck. It is closely related to us human beings. So enhancing “Mountain” can bring good luck in health, long life, good relationship, and helpful people.

Water is generally related to money. Enhancing “Water” can bring wealth luck and accumulation of money.

How to set up your own artificial Mountain and Water to enhance luck

When a natural mountain or water feature is not available in the right direction, we can still simulate Water and mountains with man-made items. It will be a smaller scale and less powerful than natural water and mountain, but it will still help activate the luck.

To set up a “mountain”, create a higher ground or landscape in the right direction outside the house, set up a tall structure such as a tall shed or pergola, or plant a big tree there.

For indoor setup, we can place a big and solid cabinet or shelf as a symbol of the mountain.

Another way is to add a big, tall crystal such as an Amethyst geode.

To set up a water feature, we can create a lower, open space in the lucky water direction. A road with moving traffic can resemble a river. Setting up a pool or pond can also activate the lucky Water.

For indoors, we can add a water fountain or fish tank in the lucky water directions to attract wealth luck.
