/ Shih-tien WuToe up socks with the stretchy bind ff (1Ribbed and Sewn)
Here is the part 2 of the toe-up sock knitting tutorial: knit the ribbing and stretchy bind off. In the video, we are showing 2 ways of stretchy bind off. First, the 1 x 1 ribbing bind off or ribbed bind off. It creates a stretchy bind off following the knit and purl pattern. Second, the Elizabeth Zimmerman's sewn bind-off. This is a simple and stretchy bind off. Both methods don't leave a flare-up like some of the stretchy binds off methods.
In the next part, we will show you how to cut open the heel, pick up stitches and knit the afterthought heel.
