Chinese herbal medicine preparation and types - powder, granule, syrup, tea

Chinese herbal medicine can be taken in many different types such as cooking raw herbs into soup, powder, concentrated granule, syrup, pills, and so on. They can also be prepared with different methods to change the function of the herbal formula. For example, a Chinese herbal formula can be slow roasted, quick fried with high heat, fried with honey or other herbs.
